Commitment or Consequence? It’s a Powerful Choice!

Commitment

Commitment or Consequence…let’s ruminate on this a moment. Our world is based on action and reaction. This is a system we have all come to experience. Cause and effect. How we translate our intent into what we call reality is, well, up to us.

When we set an intention, remaining committed to it, this brings a magnetic quality to our endeavors. For example, I have been wanting to eat more consciously. Having been aware of what I eat has always been important, yet now I want to know where my food is sourced from. I am committed to eating differently and as a result, I feel and see the difference in my body. In the world we live in, I feel an urgency to feed my body, mind and spirit with quality food, thoughts and actions.

This being a daily moment by moment activity that is most times a breeze, comes with small challenges to overcome, yet I am committed. Upon waking, I sit in sacred space (more to be revealed in my upcoming book) until I feel peace-full. Practicing yoga each day is a ritual, even if only for 10 minutes. This sets the tone for my day, preparing me for the healthy meal I look forward to preparing.

It’s the little things that add up. Have you noticed a shift in conscious awareness lately? I sure have! People are giving up old habits and thought patterns that just don’t work in their life any longer. There is a new perspective, a transformation happening. It has been a long and gradual release from ego based interests, moving toward a more organic way of living and loving. Heart based interactions are a beautiful thing. It takes worldwide commitment for change to occur in the outer world, but starting with you, in your everyday life, is a very good start. Commitment or Consequence? It’s a Powerful Choice!

“All great masters are chiefly distinguished by the power of adding a second, a third, and perhaps a fourth stop in a continuous line. Many a man had taken the first step. With every additional step you enhance immensely the value of your first.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
