Internal Misalignment is Exhausting

Think about it…

Internal misalignment tells the nervous system to remain on alert. It’s exhausting, right?

The world we experience is shaped moment by moment by the identity we consistently occupy. Not the identity we briefly visit. So how do we relocate identity and re-align?

Start with contradiction. This is a hard one to release, and can become a very unhealthy habit. Emotional highs and lows are a drain on the brain and body. When belief and behavior are aligned, there is more coherence in our mind, transferring to the body and supporting the nervous system.

How do we consciously choose to become steady?

This is a journey on it’s own – one we all travel. Are we reacting or responding to our interpretation of our inner and outer world? Two people can experience the same occurrence or event, and the interpretation can be completely different. One may be negative. The other may be positive and seen as a learning lesson – when viewed from a higher perspective. How we choose to react or respond to our emotions and actions, influences outcomes. Micro-reactions are a sign of misalignment. When we stop reacting to life as if we are trapped inside it and begin responding as though we stepped outside of it as the observer looking in, we begin to experience a shift in awareness.

Think about a wonderful day you’ve had recently…

Did you notice how the world appeared just as wonderful as you felt? Energy aligned with you because the world responded to your stabilized energy. Emotional consistency, as we all know, can be a challenge in daily life. Yet, when aligned with consistency, moment by moment, we reshape momentum. Remember, momentum can take time to unwind – the old narrative likes to stay alive, and has become accustomed to directing the show.

When you align internally the nervous system relaxes, and over time, becomes aligned. This will affect every decision and choice you make. This requires repetition in behavior. The emotions may kick up a fit – so you can let the emotions know there is a new show in town, and behavior is the headliner. This is sustained identity and grounds you. You are not erasing old behaviors of a lifetime, you outgrowing them. Eventually you can live without constant monitoring. Take a deep breathe, can you feel it?
